Need to cancel an entire day or several days of appointments? Whether you're sick, taking a vacation, or closing your studio for a holiday, you can cancel multiple appointments at once using the Cancel Range feature.
You can cancel appointments for just yourself, selected staff members, or your entire studio.
đĄ Pro Tip: Avoid Holiday Scheduling Confusion
Let's face it, not everyone remembers the holiday schedule you sent out at the beginning of the year!
To avoid a flood of emails, calls, and texts asking, "Are we having lessons next week?", use Cancel Range about two weeks before an upcoming holiday or studio closure.
This cancels the scheduled appointments and helps remind clients that the studio will be closed, saving everyone time and confusion.
Cancel an Entire Day or Range of Appointments
Log in to your MakeMusic Studio account and open your Calendar.
Click CANCEL RANGE in the bottom-right corner.
Choose which appointments to cancel:
Everyone: Cancel appointments for your entire studio. As a safety precaution, you'll need to type CANCEL ALL APPOINTMENTS to confirm.
Individual staff members: Select the staff member whose appointments you'd like to cancel.
Choose the dates:
One Day: Select a single date.
Multiple Days: Select a date range.
Optionally, add a message to let affected clients know why their appointments are being canceled.
Click:
SAVE to cancel the appointments without notifying clients.
SAVE & NOTIFY to cancel the appointments and send your message to affected clients.
đĄ Tip: For holidays or planned studio closures, choose SAVE & NOTIFY so clients receive a reminder that lessons won't be held.
